The fastening elements that secure the brake calipers to the stub axles may not have been tightened to the correct torque.

As a result, the movement of the wheels can be restricted and subsequently the tyres may lose pressure, increasing the risk of an accident.

The Tesla Model Y vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 14 January 2020 – 17 January 2021.
