Published on 03. 07. 2021

Problem description:

Due to improper design, the lead wires in the driver and passenger side door harness could be damaged or cut by the repeated motion of opening and closing the doors.

This may cause the curtain and side airbags to not deploy correctly in the event of an accident, increasing the risk of injury.

The Suzuki Jimny models affected by this recall were manufactured from the start of production to 02.12.2020.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a Suzuki dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.

Check the vehicle's history
