Problem description:

Due to improper software of the FCM ECU (Forward Collision Mitigation), camera images might be processed incorrectly and a possible collision might be detected falsely.

As a result. the FCM system might operate primary braking, leading to an increased risk of an accident.

The MY 2018-2020 Mitsubishi ASX models are affected by this recall.
