Due to manufacturing according to wrong specifications, there might be inclusions or cracks in the camber strut connection of the right-hand wheel carrier on the rear axle.
Consequently, under specific stresses the wheel carrier could break at the camber strut connection, affecting the wheel control and vehicle stability, increasing the risk of accidents.
The Mercedes-Benz A-Class models affected by this recall were manufactured between 1. 4. 2019 – 25. 4. 2019.
