The impeller in the low-pressure fuel pump may become deformed causing fuel pumping failure. This may result in the engine not starting and/or stalling, increasing the risk of an accident.
The Mazda CX-3 vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 18 October 2017 and 6 September 2019.

Affected models: 2 (DJ), 3 (BM/BN), 6 (GJ/GL), CX-3 (DK), CX-5 (KE/KF), CX-9 (TB) , MX-5 (ND). Passenger cars manufactured in Japan, Mexico and Thailand.
