Lexus NX (2021 – 2022)

Published on 01. 05. 2022

Problem description:

Certain spot-welds were missed during the welding of the body panels to the left and right front shock absorbers. As a result, cracks and breakage may occur on other spot-welds and/or on the body panels around the front shock absorber mounting areas.

This could cause a front shock absorber to separate from the mounting area, resulting in a loss of vehicle driving stability, increasing the risk of an accident.

The Lexus NX vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 15 April 2021 and 27 January 2022.

What the owner should do?

If you read about a recall that you think may affect your car, you should make immediate contact with a Lexus dealer or workshop that’s been officially authorised to perform repairs on behalf of the manufacturer and ask for the details.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.

Check the vehicle's history
