Problem Description

The battery positive (B+) transfer point in the boot may corrode. This can result in increased contact resistance, potentially leading to malfunction of the power supply and increased risk of fire.

The BMW M5 models affected by this recall were manufactured between 5 February 2002 and 27 July 2010.
