Published on 30 April 2020

The joint on the discharge nozzle of the gas generator for the curtain airbag might have been inappropriately welded.

In the event of an accident triggering the curtain airbag, the joint could fail impairing the proper inflation of the airbag, increasing the risk of injuries.

The Audi Q7 models affected by this recall were manufactured between May and September 2019.

If you wish to know more about eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accidents damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), then we suggest going to HPI-Check.

Check the vehicle

UK car-owners can easily make a pre-check by visiting DVLA website and entering the car registration number; it will also reveal the car’s current MOT status.
