Problem description:
The nuts on the eccentric bolt of the rear-axle spring-link control arm may break due to stress corrosion. As a result, the rear axle could move in the wrong direction, in an uncontrollable manner at high speeds.
The Audi A6 models affected by this recall were manufactured between 7 November 2019 and 16 April 2021.
Audi recall code: 42L1
Affected models: A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7, Q8, E-TRON
