Recall for revolutionary Mazda Skyactiv-X engine

19. 11. 2019 In Misc
Nearly 6,000 Mazda models equipped with the revolutionary Skyactiv-X engine, which combines petrol and diesel engine elements, may have problems with the fuel supply.
With the Mazda3 and Mazda CX-30, the engine and transmission control unit (PCM) may calculate an incorrect air-fuel ratio. In extreme cases, this may result in loss of power or engine stall.
The recall with code AK055A concerns the Mazda3 (BP) model with a production date from 14th June to 1st October 2019 and a Mazda CX-30 (DM) from 9th July to 1st October 2019. In both cases is the Skyactiv-X engine with HF code under the hood.
The necessary software update will take about half an hour.
