Worldwide, 245,000 Lexus models GS-F GS200t / GS300, GS250, GS300h, GS350, GS450h, IS200t / IS300, IS250, IS300h, RC F, RC200t / RC300, RC300h, and RC350, manufactured between 2011 to 2018, will have to go back to the workshop. The reason for the measure is that fuel leakage can cause a fire. In Germany, 3,440 vehicles are affected.
The fuel tank vent pipe will be replaced in the workshop. The KBA is investigating this recall under reference number “012358”, and the manufacturer code is “22SMD-114”.
