14 recalls for 4 Dodge models in 2019


In 2019, Dodge announced 14 recalls involving 4 models through the EU Rapex system. With 12 recalls, the RAM were the most recalled model.


We’ve sorted all 2019 recalls according to the model into a table below.

Although the RAM Truck division has been separated from the Dodge in 2009, Dodge is still reporting the recalls for large pickups to the EU Rapex system. In 2019 it was 12 times and the RAM is one of the most recalled cars ever.



With the Challenger, Charger and Dakota models manufactured between 2009-2016, problems with the airbag inflators were reported. In addition, the Charger from 2014 – 2018 had one more recall because of the universal joint on the front power transmission shaft, which may be defective and could break.


Even if you don’t see your car in the table below, it doesn’t mean it was not the subject of a recall sometime in the past. The best way to verify whether a particular car is affected by some recall is to contact a Dodge Authorized Service and ask for the VIN code to be checked not only for recalls but also for various Service bulletins.
