Which Alfa Romeo models are being recalled in 2019?

5 recalls for 2 Alfa Romeo models in 2019

In 2019, Alfa Romeo announced 5 recalls involving two models through the EU Rapex system. Four were related to the Stelvio model, while three to Giulia.

We’ve sorted all 2019 recalls according to the model into a table below.

With the Stelvio, a non-compliant generator cable may be damaged as a result of contact with the exhaust gas recirculation line. An engine cooling line may also become detached. With the Giulia, on the other hand, the fastening point of the cooling circuit line may damage the brake circuit line.

For both models, there is a common problem with the seat guides and with the cruise control software that can accidentally accelerate the vehicle.

We’ve written about some problems in more detail in separate articles.

Even if you don’t see your car in the table below, it doesn’t mean it was not the subject of a recall sometime in the past. The best way to verify whether a particular car is affected by some recall is to contact a Alfa Romeo Authorized Service and ask for the VIN code to be checked not only for recalls but also for various Service bulletins.

It will only cost you your time because such information is provided for free. Free of charge are usually also all the repairs that are related to the recall. It doesn’t matter whether you are the first, second or even third owner. It doesn’t even matter whether you have been to Alfa Romeo authorized service regularly, occasionally or never before.
