28 recalls in October 2018 – Ford and Jeep issued four each, while BMW three

In October 2018, 28 recalls were reported through the EU Rapex alert system, involving 30 models of 14 brands. Ford and Jeep issued four each, while BMW announced three. Two actions had Citroën, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Opel, Peugeot and Volkswagen. At least one recall was announced by Audi, Cadillac, Dodge, Land Rover a Renault. The oldest cars recalled in October were made in 2001 and include a 17-year-old BMW X5.

Faulty Welds on the Chassis are Reported by Volkswagen, Ford, and Jeep (week 40/18)
Three manufacturers reported faulty welds on some parts of the chassis. For the Jeep Compass made in January 2018, the front transverse control arm may break, as with the Ford Ecosport produced in this year´s May and June. Interesting Recall for the 17 Years Old BMW X5 (Week 41/18)

Audi R8 and Ford GT may end up in flames after oil leak (week 43/18)
Whoever goes with the Audi R8 to the race circuit and will take the advantage of the car’s capabilities to the maximum, can get into troubles.
