Seat: 4 recalls involving 4 models in 2017
seat recalls

Seat issued four recalls involving four of its models in 2017 according to the Rapex database. Ibiza had two recalls, while Leon, Altea and Toledo all had one. The oldest cars recalled were the Seat Altea and Seat Leon from 2007.

  •

Ibiza had to return to the services twice in 2017. The first time was due to the risk of a fire in the event of a frontal collision when the air conditioning pipe could break. The second recall involved cars made from January to July 2017. An incorrectly tightened bolt on the steering column could cause the vehicle to become uncontrollable.

The Toledo has the same problem with seatbelt pretensioners as its Skoda Rapid relative. The Seat Altea as well as Leon models made between 2007 to 2009 had to be recalled over a poorly grounded ABS/ESP system, a defect that manifested in several VW brands in 2017. The relevant production years are shown in the link under each model.
