Jaguar: 8 recalls involving 5 models in 2017

In 2017, Jaguar announced 8 recalls across 5 of its models according to Rapex. The XF was the most recalled, followed by the XE model. The oldest recalled car was the 2009 Jaguar XJ.

The largest recall in terms of cars affected took place in November 2017, after problems with the flashing TFT display of the speedometer were reported. This defect affects XE, XF, XJ and F-Pace models made between September 2016 and August 2017.

Aside from the airbags and seat belts, another common occurring defect was the fuel leakage from the fuel return hose. XE, XF and F-Pace models were affected.

Also worth mentioning is the recall over potential cracks on the Jaguar XF’s interior panel, affecting cars produced in March 2017. The relevant production years are shown in the link under each model.
